SERCONS is accredited under Technical regulations «On the safety of wheel vehicles»

SERCONS has been accredited to approve conformity of goods according to the requirements of technical regulation of wheel vehicles.

From 6th of December SERCONS is able to issue certificates and declarations.

The technical regulation «On safety of wheel vehicles» was confirmed by Russian Government on 10th of September 2009, and came into force in the autumn of 2010.

The document regulates all processes connected with transport wheel vehicles (production, operating etc).

The most important innovations are the official permission for import and use of the right-hand drive cars, prohibition of xenon headlights and “push bumpers” unless they are genuine parts of the vehicle.

In addition, there is now a possibility to register handmade vehicles, if they correspond to new technical regulations.
